Like many, I was so saddened to hear the results of voting in the (UK) Parliament last night. Efforts to lower the upper limit for abortions were thrown out. The current IVF rules that say that a clinic needs to consider the need for a “father and mother” were scrapped. (Fathers no longer needed). And finally stem cell research using human-animal embryos was approved.

So much wickedness in 24 hours. My heart feels very heavy. Pray that God will forgive us.

But How? - Well I’ve found this…

There are three important biblical ways in which we are to use discernment.

(1) Test all teaching for sound doctrine, and especially against the core doctrines of the Faith as laid down in the sixty six books of the Bible.

(2) Test all prophesies to see if they are biblical and if the predictions of a prophet all come true.

(3) Test their lives, words and actions for the fruit of the Spirit.

All this needs elaborating doesn’t it?
